A done deal.
I am a resident of Awesometown.
If you’re Canadian, it’s better than rolling-up-the-rim-to-win.
If you’re not Canadian, it surpasses the best ________ you can imagine.
Knox McCoy, the guy with a name so cool it sounds made up, occasionally invites people to Awesometown. I got the news, the call. I’m in. The tenth resident.
Number 10. Think Bo Derek. Now think something else. I’m the something else.
Anyway, Knox interviewed me and if you CLICK HERE you can read it.You’ll be highly entertained by the interview; Knox’s questions are rather, um, unorthodox. I’m pretty sure I’ve been put in every possible hypothetical situation.
So go visit his blog. I guarantee you’ll learn something new about me. Likely something you never wanted to know in the first place.
But go read it anyway.
Then subscribe to Knox’s blog. Because he’s the man.
What an honor! Knox is a great blogger. Congrat!
Thanks, Rob. He is awesome indeed.
Here’s what I said to Knox:
While I sit here commenting on people’s blogs, here you are – posting another one.
Leanne:
It is nice to know that we could:
1) Totally go to the movies together
2) Totally read books together
3) Totally eat meat together
4) Totally go for the Gumby guy. (Who wouldn’t? If you know what I mean.)
Love you! And thanks for the shout out. 😉
If Knox McCoy sounds And looks like a real cowboy, he is also invited to our blogging convention in Sarasota. You guys will just have to hijack a plane. What’s the big whoop? 😉
So you wrote #3 for my benefit, right? TWSS?
I’ll get on that hijacking-a-plane thing. Or work on my own wing span.
Another black and white movie I love is The Elephant Man. And the play. “I am not an animal. I am a human being.” Sigh.
Clearly we need a food-blog-movie-book get together.

And Chase. Oh to have a name that’s a verb. And a noun. Almost as cool as Knox. 😉
I’m just wondering why your invitation to Awesometown took so long. Maybe it got lost in the mail. Silly mailmen with their knee-high socks. Can’t wait to read your interview, Bo.
Can you see me swinging my beaded hair?
Me neither.
Knox was just waiting to make me number 10. I’m sure of it. Maybe. Not.
Congratulations on your trip to Awesometown, Leanne…don’t be like those other Canadians who made it big in the States and then forgot about all us “little people” back here! LOL!
Wendy
Well…my dad does have an American passport. 😉
And my Timmies friends could never be little. Where else but Canada can you say “Double Double” and simultaneously order a coffee and quote Macbeth?
That interview was so funny and smart I now have a headache and require a rum and coke. At 8:54 a.m. You should consider running for Mayor of Awesometown. Or at least a spot on city council.
Is this before or after you scarf 50 egg whites, my body building friend?
Mayor. Hmm. Something tells me it’s not a democracy.
I’ve known since the first post I read of yours that you are awesome! I’m glad it’s now widely recognized. 🙂 I’m heading over to check out the awesomeness in Awesometown.
Aww, Kim. Thanks. I’m blushing but you can’t tell with my B0-Derek-tan-for-a-day look.
Yahoo! You’re in! Can’t wait to read it. I’ll have to though until my daily obligations are complete. I hope you don’t diss me too bad 😉
Jess also dissed you in the comments, so now I’m not such a tall poppy.
And hey, Mr A-Town resident yourself, what daily obligations are more important than checking out what’s going on in your own hood?
You and Clay and your Awesometown… I’d be happy to be live on the outskirts of Mediocreville.
Congrats. And don’t forget my t-shirt.
Trust me. Mediocreville is great the other 382 days of the year. 😉
Think Bo Derek. Now think something else…bah! Love you.
Off to read your interview in Awesometown.
(jealous.)
Aww, thanks JCG. Hope you get some well-deserved traffic!
Very very cool. Awesometown with a capital A.
Thanks. It’s been a while since I’ve been called a positive adjective that starts with “A”.
Do I need a passport for it? Because the picture on my passport may keep me out. Maybe next passport I will get my hair braided – that is how you got to be 10th, right? Braided hair and slow running?
You make me laugh. 🙂
So obviously, you like this guy, right?
By the way, thanks for the plug! That was VERY awesome of you! Seriously, that was a great compliment.
