If your brain is like mine, 140 characters is max for your neurons on a Monday morning.
Here, then, is my week-in-review in tweets.
On my kids:

On Operation Declutter-Email-Inbox:
On prepping for teaching high school English:
On my appearance:
On pop culture:
Your turn:
What have you been thinking about this past week?
Is your inbox uncluttered? How many emails are in there?

What if I told you my funny-ish tweet/favorite tweet of the week? I SO think it was under appreciated. Here goes:
Thank you, lady at the crowded water park, for letting me know my right boob was hanging out of my bathing suit. #nooneaskedformynumber
And I think my favorite tweet of yours was the one about the mini van.
These are great and that is why you are a published writer and I’m not. 🙂
Read or unread? Unread: 2 Read (sort of) 3585. Yeah….
Ha! I love this. I need to bore my kids more now.
They are all very funny!
I don’t have control of my email inbox, the weeds that are choking my garden, the leftovers in my fridge, and the pieces of paper that cover my desk. Should I attempt to do these things before I add Twitter to my skill set – or do I replace these things with Twitter?
I had some people over this weekend. I served both Key Lime Pie Martinis AND Key Lime Pie. Unintentionally overlapping. When it was time for dessert, I said to one of the female guests, “there’s pie over there if you want it,” to which she loudly replied, as she held her drink aloft, “Misty, I’ve been eating your pie all night!” Hilarity ensued.
3, and they’re driving me crazy. I’m a bit neurotic about email.
Everything else in life is in disarray, but I’m on top of the email.
On prepping for high school teaching?
Force the 10th grade boys to dance the Charleston, and your 12th graders will have reason to use their obit skills before the end of the school day.
On my email?
(1) organized emails by date and deleted all older than 3 days, (2) forced myself to spam favorite store Sale! Sale! Sale! notifications, (3) tried to cure monumental ACK attacks from 1 and 2 above.
Does searching spam and trash qualify as virtual dumpster diving? If yes, that’s #4.
Thinking about what to post on my own blogs. Currently my Inbox stands at 21 “unread.” But the rest of my mailbox is subdivided into files, containing approximately 4K messages.
I think Seniors writing obituaries would actually be very interesting. Will you actually do it?
I was listening to an 80’s synth pop station online earlier. We don’t need an intervention, the 80’s is apparently cool again.
I was going to write my own obit, but decided no one would believe I was that brilliant or talented. I thought I might have one of my characters write one, but again, there would be the same problem that no one would believe it, or recognize who wrote it.
As far as husbands go, we decided a number of years ago that if neither one of us straightened up by the time we reached 100, we would get a divorce. There’s 35 years to go!
Emails are the bane of my existence. Last week I had 600+. I was getting roughly 100/day, mostly from my spouse! Today, I’m down to 196. If I deleted those over 3 days like Gloria, I would probably have only 20. I think I’m using them as an excuse to not work on my novel. I signed up for “Word-a-Day”, but I don’t find their emails annoying. The words they come up with are fascinating and often most unusual.

I thought these clever tweets deserved being reblogged.
God, you’re good! Especially loved the Snooki Mensa comparison. You should go to LA and be a writer for a show.
Love these! I refuse to look at my inbox since I am an email hoarder. In fact, I hoard emails on multiple platforms. Yep. That takes talent. You know you are jealous.
Your tweets are funny. I’m often not clever enough for Twitter. At least that’s what it used to tell me.
I love reading your tweets but I have to admit, they make me feel like an even bigger failure than I already am. You truly are ironic, my friend….
