Being interrupted constantly and losing my train of thought. And running out of chocolate.

I think that green slice would represent “WordPress Reader” for me.

I will never forget visiting my friend in Ontario, in March, and having her dad BBQ on the back porch. In the snow. I took a picture, and it’s one of my favorites. He looks pleased as punch (or Molson). It should be turned into the official Canadian flag.

It should be. Ontario gets a lot of snow, too. More than Calgary!

I complain about dreams! I work too much in my dreams (probably true when I’m awake as well), then wake up & still have to work. There’s also things I fear & mean people. We should get to choose the content of our dreams. Not fair!

This is true. I don’t remember 90% of my dreams. And I don’t want to. I have enough trouble coping during the day as it is.

You forgot snow and freezing temperatures and the lack of Colin Firth.

I complain about the lack of pizza and the lack of french fries. I also complain about the high cost of cheerleading. I wish my DD would go cheer in another country where the costs are so much lower.

    Peace!

Cheer is expensive? I guess all competitive sports are.

      And weather. Yes!

      And Firth. Le Sigh.

Why do manufacturers insist on making kids’ toys with the tiniest of accessories? Hairbrushes, dog leashes, flower stems, a bowl of cat food, sunglasses, flip flops, cups, bracelets. All of them the size of a gnat’s fanny. They end up with the dustbunnies under the bed, perfect for midnight cat shenanignas or they get tossed into any number of organizer bins that are so disorganized, there’s just no label big enough to identify the contents.

    *rant over* 🙂

A pie chart on complaining? Did it snow up there again this weekend? Tripping over shoes and eerything else left in the hallways is a common one this week.

Unregulated electricity, my boys neglecting to lift the seat before peeing, replacing winter wear when it is nearly spring (apparently, although children lose mittens in spring, all that is available for purchase in stores are cute short sets and raincoats), and finally, the dearth of full service gas stations – I really hate refueling my car.

Pee drooling down the side of the toilet and forming a syrupy, smelly puddle.

And the products that have a sleeve over their opening mechanism (ie. ketchup) AND one of those impossible-to-remove-without-brute-force covers underneath the bottle lid with the protective sleeve. Really. It makes me want to send steaming piles of dog poo to Heinz.

After ‘enjoying’ a lovely meal, or even chowing down a so-so meal – I hate it when the server asks me if I am done “Working on it” – like I am a big cow with the great task of chewing away. I hate that. How about, “Are you done enjoying that?” or even the simple, “may I take your pate?”

I totally relate to the LEGO thing! Ugh.
Current complaints: Age shifting my metabolism so that eating a potato chip now equals a new pound of flesh; dishes and food packaging left all over the house by family; stupid people (as defined by me, of course).

My crazy friends. One who jumps from relationship to relationship and always tries to turn Mr. Good Enough into Mr. Right. One who recently told me not to have kids any time soon because then I would be boring like her friend who only talks about her six-month-old baby. (Really?! “Hey, could you not get into a relationship any time soon because then I wouldn’t be able to hear about your fascinating single/dating drama every day.”) And one who is the embodiment of neuroses. Huh. Maybe I need to make new friends…?

By the way, I gave you another shout-out for being so…. shout-out worthy. (Is it any wonder my book has sold so poorly?)

The world being unjust. Seriously – I’m a grown up and I regularly and just horrified and stunned that the world is unfair and that people don’t behave as they should. My wife thinks it’s funny that I manage to be so cynical and such a wide-eyed idealist at the same time.

Things I complain about – being cold, rude people, my insufferable, wayward hair, and not owning an iPad when my baby sister who is 12 does.

However, Leanne, thanks to you one big sister is going to get huge brownie points with said little sister. Score. 🙂

You know those balls that the kids stick the plastic shapes in? It has star, moon, square, etc? I’ll never forget stepping on the triangle when my oldest was a baby. GOOD GOD IN HEAVEN. That was more painful than childbirth. My biggest complaint these days is the girls fighting like nasty heathens. We left a restaurant tonight because of it. Hadn’t even gotten our food. They’re 14, 11 and 9.

Grading, cleaning the kitchen (yeah, I clean the kitchen), picking up dog poop, not using my time well or not having enough time to do to all of the things I want to, the heat, oh and so much more – but I gotta go! Thanks for making me laugh this morning.
