Reblogged this on stayathomemamma.
I like your posts đŸ™‚ I am following and reblogged your post would you please follow me also? Thanks đŸ™‚
I have none as good as yours, Leanne. Doesn’t the thought of what they’ll ask when they hit their teens scare the holy patootie out of you? No? Go back to your daydreams, then. Enjoy!
Loved it, Leanne! I don’t know why, but the first question that popped into my mind was: why is she sweeping the floor in a leather jacket? LOL!
By the way, with 3 sons and the only female in the house, I’ve got plenty of “burp the alphabet” stories to share!
I wondered about the leather jacket, too.
Yep, me three on this one. My strategy: use an electric broom. You just plug it in and push. đŸ™‚
You do housework wearing leather?!?!? #sexybitch
Well, my 12 yo son seems to have discovered girls on Saturday. So there’s that.
Let the fun begin at your house, Renee.
Oh yes. I think we just added four more girls to the bar mitzvah list.
It better not be the one who stole the bacon chocolate, Renee.
She fist-bumped me. I liked a girl who doesn’t leave me hanging. (Plus she’s cute and sassy. Good thing I’m at Leanne’s or he’d KILL me.
Please tell Vivy that my Words-With-Friends name is Kiwijomc
Please let me know your exact whereabouts when you go to France to write and eat olives. I can join you immediately and will bring high quality recruits like Debbie Renn. I also think you forgot to add to that tweet ‘drink wine’.
The Child turned 15 and has her own Disneyland pass. Her parents do not have Disney passes. Apparently The Boy also has a Disneyland pass.
Might that Canadian hole hold a 16 y/o boy-child?
Oh yeah… Carbon Monoxide is just like Carbon Dioxide, but it holds onto hemoglobin a WHOLE lot stronger.
Loved them all! You’re going to have a lot company eating olives and writing in France.
With no kids or grandkids around, the most interesting thing that goes on here is watching the dust bunnies blow across the floor.
I like how whenever you start to lose in WWF, you blame Vivian.
Classic.
I think we lead paralell lives.
What is with that hole?? That’s legit scary!
This morning I tried to put my bra on through my legs like underwear.
I saw that tweet about France and I, too, wondered about the absence of wine. Or maybe it is implied that there will be wine involved? It is, after all, FRANCE. (And since my eldest daughter – the college freshman – is planning on doing her study abroad semester in France, how about joining me there in a year and a half? ‘Cause there is NO WAY she is going to freaking France without me.)
Ha! The carbon dioxide/monoxide one really got me.
As for the cra-cra in Jules’ neck ‘o the woods… I spent the day today at a project management conference. That should tell you plenty. It was kind of worth it though, for a single conversation bomb heard at the end of an hour-long presentation by a middle-aged, male, project management professional. It started harmlessly enough, as a lesson on why project managers need to face conflict when it arises, as opposed to avoiding it: “One day there were two people on my team arguing outside of my office. I shut my door, but the voices escalated to a point where I finally went over. Thankfully I went over when I did, because they were just about the throw the first punch. Unfortunately, both employees were let go as a result. One of them was my wife. And we divorced a year and a half later.”
*TO throw the first punch. Oopsie.
Oh! Shazzam! THAT is a killer story!
Ah! The joys of parenthood! Hours of enjoyment — or, torture. Depending on your outlook. An update from my psycho life? Hmm! Laughing hysterically in a mall parking lot with my family over a blog possibility and getting those ‘they’re insane’ looks from passing shoppers.
Loved your blog. If I start to become wistful about my daughters now being grown, I’ll pull your posts out and just smile.
Heh. Update: Moving at 31 weeks is a dumb idea. Tomorrow is going to be interesting.
Laughing out loud regarding the sink hole.
Tell your daughter that she’ll have birthday parties all to herself once her brother is dead. Depending on how she feels about him, this will either stop her complaining or give her a motive for murder. Actually, she’ll probably stop complaining either way.
Wow, that is some extreme Swiffering going on in the Ironic Kitchen! Vacuuming must be akin to a game 7 NHL playoff game – that is if there were any Canadian teams still in the playoffs đŸ˜‰
HEY!
I’ll meet you in the south of France.
You bring the olives, I’ll bring the IronMan mask.
Love this! I wondered today if I should tweet about this morning when my hubby was giving me a much-needed shoulder massage and I was oohing and aahing like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally. My teen son said, “What are you doing?” I answered, “It’s the way your father is making me feel.” Then he asked if I was going to pack his lunch or if he was buying. After a few more “Oh yeah” and “That’s it” utterances from me, my son turned red, rolled his eyes, and muttered, “Never mind.” Oh, kids. How much fun they are!
