The best thing about having an iPhone is that I get to take bizarre pictures with great frequency. Here are a few from the past week, with captions.

Would you like readers to send you crazy ironic things we see? I saw a woman with enormous boobs standing next to a sign that read: “Big cans.” I just couldn’t figure out how to take the picture discreetly. 🙂
I wish you could have.
Me too. But the image in my brain may never leave!
And I’d love you to send me irony. Not ironing.
Big cans! LOL! My daughter has always wanted one of those kinetic energy games. I keep telling her “that would be fun for about five minutes.” Now I know how fragile they really are. That will be my new excuse for not getting one.
You know, they’re more resilient than you think. I have mine on my middle school teaching desk usually, and it’s used all the time. Nothing like an English teacher explaining physics to 14 year olds.
I love that you record these moments. I really need to pay more attention!
It’s amazing what’s out there. I have a whole series of photos I took at the Dollar Store this week (all double entendre)…I might run them next week.
Those block thingies look like they’re about to take over the world somehow.
Ha. Love it. No more zombies. It’s the Inukshuk Apocalypse!
Farris children hold suitcase wars at 7 a.m. on sidewalk in front of home; neighbor asks why children are running away from home.
Bwahaha. That could be us. I found Vivian sitting on our front step tonight in short sleeves (it was snowing). “What are you doing out here?” I asked. She said, “No one loves me.”
Awwww. I can’t stand it when my daughter says that to me!! Arrgh!!
Nothing really great comes to mind. I have 2 girls and a boy – the boy is the youngest. He rebels against the Barbie and Horse fanaticism by insisting they let him play with his Luke Skywalker or Hans Solo action figures – and then shoots everything until they blow up. War ensues 🙂
Ha. I can imagine the chaos! Thinking about three kids makes me extra exhausted.
Mouse outsmarts humane trap and is rewarded with free peanut butter. Husband considers replacing jelly with mouse when making next sandwich.
That headline made me howl!
Hilarious, as always.
Thanks, David. 🙂
God, that eye – I can’t decide whether it’s cracking me up or creeping me out! The detail! lol
She’s a realist. And she’s using the vessels in my eyes for inspiration. Seriously…
I was in Big Lots yesterday and saw a sign saying “Crabs Gather Here.” I tweeted it along with “I bet Paris Hilton has one of these in her bedroom.”
Bwahaha. Just read that aloud to my husband.
I’ve had an iphone for a year and nothing like this is on it. I feel insecure now.
But do you have great apps? And I still can’t sync all my contacts…or even add most of them…
That is, by far, the most unusual I LOVE YOU sign I’ve ever seen.
I really do heart Vivian.
🙂
I don’t have any, but yours are hysterical, paranoid mom! I think you have a new name in the making! 😉
Soon I’m be peri-menopausal mom. I think I prefer Paranoid.
“Husband freaks out wife with culinary experiments”
Sad but true. Damn non-concurrent days off.
These are great! Thanks for the morning laugh eh?
Your creativity knows no bounds!
I don’t have kids, so the only headline from my house today would be “Neglectful human abandons cats go go to ‘work’ for hours at a time”
